"I hope I can add photos to this review later. It is hard to describe just how Beyond Excellent was the work done in my house by David and Elijah, but I will try. Overall, they go above and beyond in their efforts to ensure the highest quality work. This includes advice and pre-planning before the work begins. David had ingenius planning ideas that helped me to know just when the interior painting work should be done to take the pressure off me for what I needed to do first. It was huge relief! He is a brilliant time manager! Then to the quality of paint, the necessary preparation to deal with a vintage house with walls previously painted with oil-based paint, right down to the exact tones to create the look I was after, which he fully understood. He listens! He knows colour! I mean, he REALLY knows it! Many painters just bring out the old builders white and don't care. David knew I wanted better than that. I'm hypersensitive to chemicals and did not realise the walls were oil-base coated. I could not have coped with using oil-based to repaint. David knew exactly what had to be done to use water-based, low VOC on oil-based walls so as to ensure it lasted and there would be no issues over time. And the detailing and replastering they included was superb! This old house looks brand, spanking new! Nothing was too much trouble for them, as we encountered repair work that I'd not thought of, but needed to be done. And they did it! Beautifully! On top of all that amazing expertise, the way they managed to enable me to remain in the house in comfort while they worked their way through was terrific, tidying up after and not even playing music as many tradies will do. Even the cats coped! David and Elijah are extremely considerate of clients. A project I'd dreaded was not hard for me after all. All I can say is, I was very very lucky to find them!"

"David is absolutely lovely to deal with. I used his painting service for the exterior of my home and found him to be professional and meticulous. I am thrilled with the final result especially as the timbers were old, weathered and water stained, requiring a lot of prep work...and they have come up looking like new. David went above and beyond, repairing some screen doors for me and replacing some damaged quad. My timber screen doors had been scratched and chewed by the dog and after he had finished you would never even tell.
